In our user testing we will:
Discover how intuitive the overall process of installation is for users
Ensure that there is enough space for users inside the tent
Test the structural integrity of the overall unit on the car
Validate that our brochure/manual works for consumers
We will have groups of 2 users come and test the rooftop tent once we have the base/shell/mounting system completed. They will be given the instructions for the unit and then we will observe their process with installation. So, our testing will be a combination of task analysis and interview. Our questions will include:
Tell us about the process of installation
What did you struggle with?
What aspects did you find easy?
How do you feel about the size of the tent?
Do you feel comfortable having this on top of your car?
Is this something that you would leave on top of your car or remove/install often?
Were the instructions easy to follow?
How do you feel about the mounting system?
Do you have any concerns about the overall design?
