Elevator Pitch: A rooftop tent designed specifically for adventurers with compact cars. It is lightweight, expandable, small-footprint, and aerodynamic
Description: Our project is the design and construction of a minimalist rooftop tent ideal for smaller cars. Rooftop tents are generally bulky, large, and have poor aerodynamics. These are all issues which we discovered while conducting user research. Because the majority rooftop tents are not well-suited for smaller cars, this prevents a wide audience from getting out and exploring. We want to solve that problem.
The rooftop tent is constructed with an aluminum base and shell with fabric doors. The interior features a wooden platform with a foam mattress big enough for two people to sleep inside. Adventurers can easily install the device on their smaller cars and venture out into nature.
